Egg roll recipe is considered among the simplest breakfast meal. These days every mom is worried about their kids’ breakfast meal and why to blame only kids’ our adults are also very choosy about their first meal. We usually prefer something which is tasty, healthy as well as easy to cook. When we use term healthy it does not always mean to have oats, cornflakes or fruits. Egg is one of the high quality protein diets. We can eat eggs in various forms like porch egg, half boil, omelette, scrambled, egg roll and in many other ways.

It is found that these days our kids’ and young generation don’t like to have all the vegetables which might contain vitamin, nutrition and rich protein. We are more into junk food which might prove unhealthy for your health. So we can try egg roll at home with all possible vegetables inside it, like cabbage, carrots, broccoli etc. Also it is easily cooked at home you can use left out chapatti or you can make parathas and then prepare egg roll. When you will go out to have egg roll then you might find base is prepared of white flour try to avoid when you are cooking at home. White flour is not that good for your health.

Kolkata egg roll is a popular street food. You will find small stall setup in most of the lanes or on streets. Being a metro city every teenagers and working youngsters prefer to have egg roll as it is easy to carry and eat while walking. It is a tasty and satisfying meal. You might find chicken egg roll as well so if you are a non-vegetarian then you can have chunks of chicken pieces in it.
Let’s see how to make egg roll at home
- 2 Eggs
- Left over chapatti
- 2 Onion
- 1 Capsicum
- Bell peppers (Optional)
- Chopped Cabbage
- Broccoli (optional)
- Tomato Ketchup
- Oil one tbsp
- Cumin Powder
Eggs roll Recipe:
Break 2 eggs in a bowl. Add chopped onions (Quantity should not be excessive) If you want to add chopped chilly you can (Depend on your taste and if preparing for kid then don’t use it). Pinch of salt and Cumin powder. Beat it well.
Heat oil in a pan and spread a mixture on it.
When the egg is half cooked put a chapatti’s one side on it and then flip it to other side. Cook it along with a chapatti so as to stick it to Omelette.
Take all veggies and cut into semi chopped form. Heat oil in a pan and toast all vegetables, Onion, Capsicum, bell pepper, carrot and broccoli. Add pinch of salt and cumin powder to add a taste. It should be half cooked.
Spread tomato sauce on the base of egg and chapatti.
Grate a cheese cube on it and spread it all over the base.
After that spread veggie on top of It properly and quantity should be such that it does not come out. You may spread grated cheese again on top of it.
Roll a chapatti and wrap it in a foil paper or you may use butter paper as well.
Serve it with chili or red sauce. Your yummy egg roll is ready to eat.
